I had a great time photographing Kristen (you may recognize her from her Sweet 16 pictures) and her brothers Stephen and Ryan. Kristen’s aunt and uncle allowed us to shoot at their home and … WOW! Gorgeous stuff!

Last Saturday was probably the most perfect day for a biking event in the history of bicycles! The temperature was amazing for Missouri in August (it topped off in the 80’s!) and the sky was amazingly blue. I have a few photos to share with you before I give you the link to purchase yours.

I love the enthusiasm with which some of the riders finish the ride. It’s always an accomplishment to participate in an event like this and I get as excited as the riders do sometimes! (oh and I like this rider’s bike shorts …. my bike is a Performance bike!)

I love watching people and capturing a slice-of-life moment. This rider seemed very intense as she prepared for the ride that morning. I love the expression on her face and I also loved her jersey!

This couple cracked me up. Just as they were finishing the ride they were stopped by traffic. As they saw me zooming in to photograph them, the man puckered up for a big smooch in the middle of the intersection. Too fun!

And finally, I wasn’t kidding about the gorgeous day. Just take a look at the sky in these photos. No filters, no enhancements, just pure blue Missouri sky. Ahhh gotta love living here!
