The weather put the REVENGE in this year’s St. Patty’s Revenge Urban Adventure race! Freezing rain, sleet and snow made it cold, but didn’t deter the racers. It was another excellent event hosted by Rufus Racing.

Last Saturday was probably the most perfect day for a biking event in the history of bicycles! The temperature was amazing for Missouri in August (it topped off in the 80’s!) and the sky was amazingly blue. I have a few photos to share with you before I give you the link to purchase yours.

I love the enthusiasm with which some of the riders finish the ride. It’s always an accomplishment to participate in an event like this and I get as excited as the riders do sometimes! (oh and I like this rider’s bike shorts …. my bike is a Performance bike!)

I love watching people and capturing a slice-of-life moment. This rider seemed very intense as she prepared for the ride that morning. I love the expression on her face and I also loved her jersey!

This couple cracked me up. Just as they were finishing the ride they were stopped by traffic. As they saw me zooming in to photograph them, the man puckered up for a big smooch in the middle of the intersection. Too fun!

And finally, I wasn’t kidding about the gorgeous day. Just take a look at the sky in these photos. No filters, no enhancements, just pure blue Missouri sky. Ahhh gotta love living here!

We had such a great time at the St. Patty’s Revenge Urban Adventure Race by Rufus Racing on Saturday. What started as a gray and drizzly day turned into a heated push to arrive first, and we had the pleasure of capturing the moments for you. The photos are ready for you now!

You can choose prints or individual downloads here, or you can purchase a CD of all your photos (full print quality) below. One CD is $35, add a second CD for your teammate for $10 more.
