Being a Photography 818 Senior Rep might be for you!

Senior Models for Photography 818 are exclusive models and spokes persons for Photography 818. You will assist us in marketing to your classmates, while earning credits for your senior portraits. You will be photographed, free of charge, and then show your portraits to your friends, telling them about your experience at Photography 818 and encouraging them to choose Photography 818 for their senior portraits. This is like any other assignment in that the more you put in, the more you get out of it. The cool part is that you set your own hours, “working” while hanging out with your friends!

Choosing the right studio is important in the look of your senior portraits. Photography 818 takes the time to work you to create memorable images that you will love to show off to your friends and family. We do not rush you, taking around an hour and a half to two hours to capture your personality in your senior portraits. At Photography 818 you will have a great experience and receive and a mix of traditional and trendy images.

There is NO cost to you for your senior session, and we welcome your parents to be involved at every step of your portrait process if they wish.

How it works

For every referral up to 9 you will receive $25 credit per referral When you refer your 10th you retroactively receive $50 credit for each referral. That makes $500 in product credit! Every referral after that earns another $50. Referral credit is applied when your friend picks up his/her order.

So, it’s like this:

You refer 1 person. You receive a $25 portrait credit to spend at Photography 818.

You refer 9 people, you have accumulated $225 in portrait credits.  Once you’ve referred your 10th friend, that $225 is bumped up to $500! Then you get $50 in credit for each additional person you refer.

What if one of your friends refers a friend? You get credit, they get another set of 8 wallets. If they refer 3 friends they get a Senior Memory Book (a 6×6 soft bound book with their photos and extra pages for autographs) Everybody wins!!

You will receive a Model Package with a value of over $200 including:

  • A free session
  • 120 custom designed Buzz Cards (business cards with your images) to hand out to your friends and classmates. Your friend must bring your card in order for you to get credit. As incentive to bring it, your friend will receive 8 free wallets with his/her order just by bringing in the card!
  • 2 (yes, two! one for you, one for Mom!) custom designed 6×6 soft bound Portfolio Album with your best images to show to everyone you know.
  • Images posted on Facebook to use as profile pictures.
  • An online video slideshow posted to Facebook for you to share with everyone.

The (not so) Fine Print (yeah, we’re up front about this stuff)

This is a great opportunity for both of us. You’ll earn extras and we get to meet your amazing friends! We ask that if you become a senior rep that you put time and effort into doing the best job possible.

Until you reach 3 referrals, the Portfolio Albums belong to Photography 818. As soon as you hit 3 referrals they’re yours to keep. Now, if you don’t reach those levels, the items are due back in the studio by March 1st, 2011.

Reps who have zero referrals by March 1, 2011 will be required to pay the $80 session fee that was waived at the time of your original session. If you wish to keep the portfolio book the price will be $49.95 for each book you wish to keep.

All compensation is in the form of product credit, no cash will be paid out. Credit is given at the time your friend makes his/her purchase.

We also ask that you do not represent any other studios during this year. If you become an 818 Model we expect you to promote us — after all, you ARE one of us!

Your parents must be okay with this. They need to be willing to sign a release allowing Photography 818 to use your photos for our website and other advertising purposes. We love parents (hey, we ARE parents!) and we want to the best possible relationship with your whole family, so make sure mom and dad (or whoever is legally responsible for you) are on board.

That’s it! Hopefully your friends already knew how great your images were and what a great time you had so this really isn’t a hard job. But it is a good opportunity for you to get something free…So how about it?
